The Durandia store began as a site to offer e-book versions of my stories. This is more than just self-publishing - it is a fundamental change in the way people can access written works. When publishers have abdicated their duties in editing and no longer demand well-written works, just those that are "marketable" then it is time that readers decide to no longer pay them. Modern publishers do more to censor what people read than contribute any worthwhile value to the final work.

Censorship has no place here at the Durandia Store. We will issue warnings similar to ratings on games and movies, but adult content will not be a determining factor on whether or not an e-book will be offered through this site.

The Durandia Store's headquarters are located in Central Florida. Our plan is to offer authors an online outlet for their work where they don't have to pay exorbitant fees to distributors and publishers or maintain their own store.
